Zimbabwean Dancehall chanters Winky D and Buffalo Souljah have been named among the ‘Biggest Dancehall Artistes’ in Africa according to Africa Facts Zone.

Africa Facts Zone took to their twitter account and released a list of 8 Dancehall artistes who they said are the biggest in Africa.
Besides Winky D and Buffalo Souljah, the list also included Timaya (Nigeria), Burna Boy (Nigeria), Patoranking (Nigeria), Shatta Wale (Ghana), Stonebwoy (Ghana) and Samini (Ghana).
Winky D who is set to release his much anticipated album called Gombwe in February has enjoyed his fair share of success and is regarded as a legend in the Zimbabwean Dancehall industry.
Meanwhile Buffalo Souljah is not yet a fovourite on the local Dancehall scene but has represented Zimbabwe regionally and at one point he was the African Dancehall king. Buffalo Souljah has also bagged multiple which include Channel O (10 awards) and MTV awards.
Buffalo Souljah and Winky D also ended the year 2017 on a high note as their duet, Rugare made it to the number one spot on the Coca-Cola Zimbabwe top 50 music videos.

Buffalo Souljah has also just released a brand new video for his track titled Gwenya which he featured Kinnah. The track is already making noise in the streets and on radio stations.

Since the arts and entertainment industry was overshadowed by politics last year, we certainly hope that this year the industry will make waves.
