By now if you are not a fan of Takura‘s music, you probably have personal issues with him. His consistency when it comes to releasing good music that resonates with all in the past two years is something that needs to be celebrated.
Takura is probably one of a few artistes that have maintained a certain level of “high standard” music videos ever since he came on to the music scene.
Speaking of music videos, it seems as if Takura is a man of his word. He recently announced that he will be dropping new music accompanied with music videos each and every month and he has done so as far as his latest releases are anything to go by.
After releasing ‘Jehovah‘ a month ago, Takura has again released a new video titled ‘Can’t Get Over You‘ and people are loving it as far as comments on social media are concerned.
Directed by Andy Cutta, the video kicks off with Takura chilling with ‘the one he can’t get over’ in a restaurant, singing and making her smile showing that she is with thee one.
The setting switches to the lake-side where Takura takes the beautiful and light-skinned girl on a boat cruise.
The singer and songwriter uses English and Shona in his delivery and in part of the video he sings, “Uri svovi yangu, you should call me up, when you’re lonely”.
