Local music fans were last night treated to some stage magic by fast-rising Bulawayo based Hip Hop sensation Luminous at Shoko Festival.
Luminous put up an electric performance during his set at the MASH-UP NIGHT at Shoko Festival in Harare.
The rapper who recently performed in Durban at The Music Imbizo Festival kept fans on their feet with his performance. He connected seamlessly with the fans with his story telling game. His energy was top notch and he showed that he had experience with performing live in stage.
Some songs from his latest EP Love, Sex and The Gospel kept fans on their feet, and when it was his time to get off the stage, fans kept asking for more.
From his stage performance, Luminous can be the next big thing in Zim Hip Hop.
With the MASH-UP NIGHT made up of a cocktail of artists plucked from different genres, fans had the chance to witness thrilling performances from Hip Hop artist MUSE who also had a thrilling performance, Eden Lang, Mangoma, Rachel Zarae, Rhodalia Silvestre and Voltz JT who was the closing act.
Today the Festival continues with the Hub Unconference in the afternoon and the much anticipated Roast of Temba Mliswa in the evening at Reps Theatre in Harare.
