It is beyond any reasonable shadow of doubt that 2019 is a great year for Zimbabwe musically as our artistes keep on shining and and set the bar high.
This morning Jah Prayzah surprised his fans when he dropped the video for Chikomo, one of his most loved songs off the Chitubu album.
Like always, Jah Prayzah had on the previous day posted a picture wearing a very “unusual” costume that led to debates and speculations that new visuals were coming.
Shot in the beautiful Eastern Highlands’ Inyanga mountain and Kariba, the video shows a breath-taking bird’s view scenery that will leave you in awe.
As touching as the song is, the video really brings it to life and it is deeply moving how the song, the visuals and the choice of location blend in.
If social media is anything to by, Jah Prayzah has once again outdone himself with the video for Chikomo which is a brilliant piece of art that is superbly crafted.
Many props to the award-winning videographer Vusa Blaqs for the breath-taking visuals and whoever did the script is amazingly talented.
Also, the work put in by Thembani Mubochwa on the scintillating costumes can not go unnoticed, he was on point.
With the recent Cyclone Idai tragedy that hit Manicaland with estimated 300+ deaths, this came as a prayer to the most high for his intervention.
