It is now two months since we have lost Donald ‘Dodger’ Marindire, one of the finest music bloggers in the country and rapper Noble Stylz has released a song dedicated to the blogger.
Noble Stylz who turned a year older today has dedicated the day to Dodger and released a freestsyle tilted Dodger Day.
The two minute freestyle reveals how important Dodger was to the Hip Hop community and music industry as a whole. His unconditional love for Hip Hop was unmatched, and if the social media streets are any thing to go by, he ws basically the best blogger we have ever had.
In the song, Noble says: “Rap Album harisi Album pasina the Dodger Review” (a rap album is not valid without Dodger’s review) and this shows how influential and loved Dodger was in the Hip Hop community.
He went to mention how Dodger would decypher and explain some of the most bars or lyrics which flew over many Hip Hop heads.
Before he passed on, Dodger published a letter to Hip Hop titled Letters From My Deathbed: Dear Hip-hop and others have chosen to call it his own eulogy.
In the Hip Hop community, Dodger helped create and expand the genre to new heights, his wit through the #DodgerReview and #DodgerCosign led others to fall in love with the genre.
Dodger was also a contributor to this publication, and he did it with love and willingly.
