Budding Hip Hop artiste Da Kid Verse is walking his talk as he has just dropped two more fresh joints from his upcoming EP titled Untitled Stories.
The first song is titled Nziyo (song in English) and is basically a song for every Zmbabwean, thus artistes, students, and the general people who are struggling to make ends meet in order for them to survive. The song features Fun F who is on the hook and Savage, and was produced by Fun F.
The song talks about the current status quo as he talks about the struggles being faced by Zimbabweans both locally and in the diaspora. He extends his discontent on how even graduates are failing to get jobs whilst holding their degrees.
The second track is titled huya and it features Nyasha Timbe who is also behind the production.
Da Kid shows his versatility as he proves that he can also sing.
The song is about a guy telling a girl that she should love him and he will bring her happiness that is probably been missing in her life.
“Huya uve wangu, uve chimwe changu, I ain’t gon tell you that am perfect…” goes part of the catchy chorus.
Both songs were perfectly delivered with the first one carrying a strong message and the second one (which might be your favourite) has a really dope melody which one can vibe to anytime.
