Brazilian DJ collaborates with local artistes

Brazilian DJ and music producer Rafael Tudesco, who was in Zimbabwe for the Zim Hip Hop Summit at Shoko Festival said he loved Zimbabwean Hip Hop and has already done some collaborations with local artistes.

Speaking to The ZimTainment on the sidelines after the Zim Hip Hop Summit, Rafael said that he had already recorded six songs with local artistes ever since he arrived in the country said that he will be working with more artistes before he departs for Brazil.

“I have been here for only three days and I have already recorded six songs man, I worked with Dhadza D, Sharky, we just talked to Munetsi and Chengeto too”, he said.

Of the Zimbabwean artistes Rafael listened to, he was impressed with the originality of the music as it was it was not a replica of the western nor the South African music.

“Zimbabwean Hip Hop, man I think it is nice, I got to connect with a few artistes and everybody that I’ve seen I love, I heard Sharky and I love his music you know, he is very original, I didn’t listen to much Hip Hop songs but what I listened to was super dope”, said Rafael.

Rafael said that he was excited to work with Zimbabwean artistes and would be back probably in two weeks to work with more artistes.
