On the panel, he was with Former SA Hip Hop Magazine Editor and other Zimbabwean Hip Hop personnel’s. Later on he closed the night concert with a high energy performance which he put up soon after MoonChild Sanelly’s performance.
“I was impressed with ASAPH’s 40 minutes set on the first night of performances and also his Chitungwiza performance. Its really outstanding to see a Zim Hip Hop Artist headline one of the biggest festivals in the country and also to live up to their hype. I was worried about him performing after MoonChild on Saturday, but he showed everyone that he is really the biggest act at the moment in Zimbabwe, he was on fire”, – Marcus Kumbi tweeted.
The Chitungwiza concert was well attended, with thousands of people coming through to the Peace in the Hood concert, which featured the headliners alongside acts such as Tammy, Insomia and Jibilika Dancers, amongst many other artists.
“It was such an honour headlining Shoko Festival this year, it was an amazing experience and i had a good time vibing with the audiences on both days. I would like to thank the organisers and audience for coming through and making sure that everyone had a good time”, – expressed Asaph.
